Just One....

I often wish to compose something first...and then start the sketching and painting, mostly...when the background is made....some unpredictable form decides to occupy the centre-stage on the canvas.
 I ...kind of....love this unpredictable nature of theses forms..as they happen to be quite unique...and the final outcome is quite satisfying to me....as its creator.!!!................
..............Daffodil is one such unique 'form'. I had never seen the flower, like in the poem 'Daffodils' by William Wordsworth that was taught to us in school ....But its the sheer magic of the poets mysticism with nature...that accelerated my imagination about this cheerful bright flower.
...........................When I thought for an expression... for motivation....only Daffodil came to my mind,....and I think....with it's brilliant bright yellow hue and beautiful structure and shape...it perfectly fits this place on the canvas, like it fits in my mind  for (motivation) ...in the 'blue' phase of life!!!! 

Touched.......by a butterfly....

I  love to  make these arcs as a backdrop for any form....the colours give so much pleasure ...when they mix and merge with each other into an arc....like rainbow....like doors to my dreams....like infinite ripples of joy....like...a tunnel made of sunshine.....and many many more possibilities...and adventures....................
.........................................the form which I have used, on this joyful background...most often... has to do something with hope, joy, activity, adventure, colours, magic....hence the butterfly...symbolising all of them.

They say...you can have everything/anything you want...if you want it desperately enough. You must want it with an inner exuberance that erupts through the skin & join the energy ......that created the world.!!!!____________________________________________________________Just like the tinny y white blossoms....used the energy to attain their goal.....to bloom. However small they may appear to the world....but their achievement lies in blooming....and joining the energy...that created the world....._______________________________________________________/____I have used black for the background to show more focus on the energy....and Brilliance...as black gives the desired contrast...for both....the Sun...and the white blossoms....!!

LUNGFULL OF PEACE.....

 

Come with me to beautiful place...where life moves at a rhythmic pace,

 Look at the clear lake in the distance.  Feel the wind flowing gently with insistence. 

Now go ahead....walk slowly to the lake....

Forget everything at stake!..

You see a dock waiting for you....gently swaying in the water so blue! ...

...walk on over with your bare feet....slowly bend down ...and take a seat..!!!!

let your toes free and enjoy the air...Dip them in the water for a joyful affair.  

Take a deep breath and enjoy the feeling.  Look around....as nature starts appearing.

The Asoka trees....sway with the winds...in a gentle motion.  The reflections rippling....with great devotion...

 The glare of the sun bounces off the waters...with a gentle shimmer...Flickering, shining, then slowly going dimmer. 

The air smells of fresh weeds and fish....A lung full of it....makes all stress perish.

 Breathe it all...in.....and feel the freedom of your soul. Bring it all together....and make yourself whole!!! 

Watch the water....slowly turn red.  Let peace through your body....spread.!!!

THE GREEN REALMS......

Embosomed, a calm ....cool vision.....The abstract takes of nature....in leaf -speckled brown green hues......Shades of sunlight...percolating through the random flows.....to Highlight the glittering sprites upon the leaves.  Here and there a break of colour...nature's warm narration--- The 'Undertones ' of Life!!!!... 
The environmentally sensitive philosophy of Hinduism...teaches us to live in Harmony...with nature.  Recognise ..that divinity prevails in  all....element, including plants and animals...!! I made this abstract...strict colour scheme...with ...the wonderful 'Shanti Mantra' in mind.      

The White Light....

Flower...Flower you are true...you make me happy when I am .....Blue.

Flower ...Flower grow for me ...Shower the 'White Light' around me!!

This light from the nature.....So Pure and White.....It’s something…. that can be seen, only by my 'Inner Sight'!!

I wrap myself constantly .. in this healing white light....and let the universe help....heal.. my unwanted plight.!!

White flowers symbolise...Hope , Freshness and Purity.  They bring in the 'White Light' of the universe which heals our pain and bring in hope.  May this 'white light' mean the same for YOU Too!!  Enjoy this piece....'acrylics on paper'  ...usually I don't like to use burnt sienna....but I thought no other colour will depict boredom  and pain....it serves a great contrast to the white as well.      

           

ON THE WINGS OF EAGLE....

On wings of Eagles…
I dared to fly
In open skies …upon the plains!
In search of flowing waterfalls…
To cleanse me of my pains!
Powerful talons …enough to hold me…
To never let me fall  !
From dusk to dawn…
From moon to sun…
To heed the distant call,
Underneath the many stars.
That conceals my open wounds,
My multitude of scars !!!
Upon the eagle's wings …
Those winds that carry tunes
Like voices in my ear
I am safe from all that beckons…
For there is left no fear !!!!

I have grown weary of the mundane world, and I am trying to slowly create a magical world through my fantasy artwork. I  believe that with each piece of art I can get out of my system, onto paper, and into others home through the paintings... I can do my  part to make this place a more magical planet.
